PLUMBING BUSINESSES
Websites for plumbers, built around the emergency call.
Most plumbing enquiries start with someone standing in water, on a phone, in a hurry. We build your site so that person can call you in one tap and so the job goes to you instead of the next listing down.
What a plumbing website actually has to do
A plumbing website has a narrower job than most people assume. It is not a brochure. In the majority of cases someone has a real problem right now, they are searching on a phone, and they will contact one of the first businesses that looks capable and local. Everything else is secondary to that.
So we build for that moment first:
- Tap-to-call above the fold. Your number is a link, not an image, so one tap dials you. This sounds obvious and is missing from a surprising number of trade sites.
- Emergency availability stated plainly. If you do after-hours or weekend call-outs, that goes near the top. If you do not, saying so saves you the wasted calls.
- Service areas by name. Suburbs, towns and councils you actually cover, written out. People search with place names, and vague coverage claims lose trust.
- A quote form that emails you immediately. With the fields a plumber needs: property type, what is happening, and whether it is urgent.
- Proof you are allowed to do the work. Licence number, insurance, and any trade body membership, displayed where a cautious homeowner will see it.
The pages a plumbing business needs
You do not need twenty pages. You need a small number that match how people search. We normally build around your core services rather than one generic 'Services' page, because a page about the specific job is what tends to get found:
- Blocked drains and drain clearing
- Hot water systems: repair and replacement
- Burst pipes and leak detection
- Bathroom and kitchen plumbing
- Gas fitting, if you are licensed for it
- Commercial or strata work, if you take it
Each one says what the job involves, roughly what affects the price, how quickly you can attend, and how to reach you. That is genuinely useful to the reader, and it is also the kind of specific, answerable content that search engines and AI assistants can actually quote.
What it costs
A complete plumbing website is $497, paid once. There is no monthly fee from us, no retainer and no hosting bill from us. Your domain and hosting are paid directly to your own providers, and we will help you get that set up.
You see the finished site as a working demo before any money changes hands. If you do not want it, you do not pay and you owe us nothing.
Not sure a plumbing site is worth it? Ask us for the demo and compare it against what you have now. It is free, and you are allowed to walk away.
How the demo works
We build the first version from your public business information, so there is no discovery call, no proposal and no project management for you to pay for. You get a link to a real, working site.
From there you tell us what is wrong, send your own photos, and we correct it. A first demo uses stock photography and may contain placeholder figures; we remove anything unsupported and replace the images with yours before the site goes live. Nothing about your business gets claimed that you have not confirmed.
Will it rank on Google?
We build in the foundations: clear page titles, your trade and service area in the right places, a sensible page structure, fast loading, and pages that answer real questions. That is what makes a site eligible to rank and quotable by AI assistants.
What we will not do is promise you a position. Rankings depend on your competition, your reviews, your Google Business Profile and how long you have been established. Anyone guaranteeing you the top spot for a one-off fee is guessing. Ongoing SEO campaigns are not part of this price.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Plumbing website questions.
Something not covered here? Email us and we will answer it properly.
sarah@localsitehero.comDo you build for gas fitters too?
Yes. If you hold a gas licence we will give gas fitting its own section or page, with your licence details shown. We only list qualifications you confirm you hold.
Can the site show that I do 24-hour call-outs?
Yes, and it should. After-hours availability goes near the top of the page with your number as a tap-to-call link, because that is the main reason someone is on your site at 11pm.
I already have a plumbing website. Is it worth changing?
Send us the address and we will build a demo you can compare side by side. You decide whether the new one is better before you spend anything. If it is not, keep what you have.
How long until my plumbing site is live?
The first demo normally arrives within a day. Once you have approved it and sent your photos and corrections, going live usually takes another day. The timing depends on your domain details being ready.
Is there a monthly fee?
Not from us. The $497 is one payment for the finished website. You pay your own domain and hosting providers directly, which is typically a small annual cost.
